No deposit is taken initially, but a charge of £100 is held against your card until the suit is returned is satisfactory condition. The charge is only exercised if the suit is not returned or there is significant damage and the suit is no longer useable. The charge for drysuits is £250 but there is no charge for smaller items like gloves etc.
